Pandemic update

Covid-19 has turned everyone's life upside down this year. The impact on us artists in Sonoma County is that instead of participating in one or both of Sonoma County's two annual open studio programs in June and October, this year 140 of us participated in a new kind of art event: SAVOS 2020: SebArts Virtual Open Studios http://sebartsvirtual.org.   This online event will be active until at least the end of 2020. Each artist has 6 pieces of art for sale in the website's shop.

 PANDEMIC UPDATE

The unprecedented  which had been burning in Armstrong Woods State Park and other wooded areas nearby since mid August,  forced my husband and me to evacuate our property  with our 2 cats for 10 traumatic days. Fortunately, the heroic team of fire fighters saved our little valley and homes from destruction, and for that we are extremely grateful; hundreds of other families were not so lucky.

My Guerneville studio and neighborhood were threatened by the Walbridge wildfire in August 2020, and my husband and I had to evacuate with our two cats for 10 days. Although the fires burned much of our treasured Armstrong Woods State Park, which is only a mile from our property, but thanks to a small army of fire fighters and other volunteers, the fire did not reach the residential and commercial part of our little valley.

My art barn studio is filled with all the new art featured on this website. I would love to share all this with you in a way that best protects the health and safety of us all  --i.e. with social distanced, masks required, sanitzer-stocked visits.    You can contact me  --either by phone (707) 869-9419 -- or email croneclown@comcast.net.   I'm often available for same-day visits--or you can schedule a visit to my studio anytime during the year--pandemic conditions or not.

The Maresca art barn studio is located at 16120 Watson Road, Guerneville, CA 95446.
Just a mile north of downtown Guerneville and a block west off Armstrong Woods Road.
